Style First.... Choosing the outfit that fits your session

If I had a dollar for every time a client asked, “What should I wear?” I’d have my own walk-in closet of designer clothes by now. But here’s the good news: choosing your photo session outfit doesn’t have to feel like a fashion crisis. With a few simple guidelines, you can skip the stress and step in front of the camera feeling confident and comfortable.
“Start with items you already have in your closet, a new outfit isnt a requirement for a great sessions"
Start with Comfort
If you don’t feel good in it, you won’t look good in it. Pick pieces you can move, sit, and laugh in without tugging or adjusting.
Coordinate, Don’t Match
Gone are the days of identical white shirts and jeans. Aim for colors that complement each other—think a cohesive palette instead of a uniform.
Add Texture and Layers
Denim jackets, cozy sweaters, flowy scarves, or leather boots give your photos depth and personality. Layers also give you quick styling options without a full outfit change.
Keep Patterns Subtle
A hint of plaid or a delicate floral works great, but loud prints can steal the spotlight. Let the focus stay on your faces and connections.
